10 Ideas a Day

James Altucher in his amazing book, Choose Yourself (don’t forget to use smile.amazon.com when you order) says to write down 10 ideas a day. This takes practice and here is my first attempt. I challenge you to write down your 10 ideas today!

  1. Network of drones to patrol your property: On your roof will be a platform of drone docking stations. The drones will programmatically launch from the base station and will start to patrol the defined property that you establish with the drone cameras. The number of drones circling your property at one time will be calculated based on the field of vision of the cameras. When a drone needs to recharge, a replacement drone will leave the base station and enter the pattern. The drone that needs to recharge will return to the base station. Each drone can be outfitted with an infared camera that is pre-programmed to recognize the body temperature of each individual or pet that it expects to see on the property. If the drone detects an image that is not programmed, the drones will sound alarms and wirelessly turn on every light inside and outside the house and will beam the feed to Instagram live, Facebook live and Twitter Live.
  2. Drones that can find pets: Drones will be outfitted with the same reader that the veterinarian offices used to scan the microchips in pets. From the air, the drone will scan the ground to find the pet. Once located the drone will send the position back to the owner and start the video feed
  3. Country Club Airlines: Individuals get together and purchase a private jet for a route that is identical every day. Key routes could be New York to Florida. The key part of this idea is that the route is the same. There can be no variations in the route. The individuals that purchased the jet, pay a franchise fee to the management company to provide the booking software and management of the aircraft. This model will work like a country club. You have to be approved by the membership committee to join.
  4. Outlook Widget: Insert a widget into Outlook that examines the meetings you have on your calendar and how many times you have attended them. If you have not attended or engaged in the meeting for a defined duration it deletes the meeting from your calendar
  5. Ok, 10 ideas a day is hard, so I will need to work up to this.

If you like any of these ideas and want to expand upon them with me, feel free to comment.
