The book titled: “Steve Jobs” by Walter Isaacson book has remained on my bookshelf for years. Reading 571 pages looked insurmountable for me. Now that I have finished, this book will go down as one of my favorite books and finishing it has unlocked my method for more reading! If you like Apple products, start reading this book and you will devour this faster than you think!

The method that I have derived for reading includes completing my full routine for bed and then using a book light, I will read from 15–30 minutes before falling asleep. The book light has been the best device to help reading in bed at night.

Consuming the Steve Jobs book taught me about his struggles but it allowed me to understand the Apple organization. This book dives into the history of several of the Apple products from the first days of the Macintosh through the iPad. If you are a fan of Apple products you will enjoy the development cycle that occurred to bring the products to life.

The book balances the Apple product timeline against Jobs’ personal life. The challenges he faced with his health and family would look insurmountable to a regular individual. Steve Jobs overcame these items to build one of the best companies.

The writing by Walter Isaccson is amazing. It would be great to read a book about how he wrote this book. The interviews he conducted and management of the notes requires an organized individual. Fortunately, Mr. Isaccson maintained the organization of the notes to deliver this incredible literary work of art.

If you enjoy Apple products and want to know how they ended up looking and performing as they do, I highly recommend this book.
